The Norwich Women's Club is a philanthropic organization dedicated to enhancing the social, cultural and educational landscape of Norwich, Vermont.  Membership is open to all persons with an interest in Norwich.  Interested in joining?  Click here.

In recent years, the NWC has given out over $25,000 in Community Project Grants and post-secondary scholarships.  The Club's two major fundraisers are the Celebrate Norwich! event, a fun, family-oriented day of music games and food on the Norwich green in June, and the annual Nearly New Sale where we sell gently used and new clothing on consignment ot donation, held in October.  More than 200 volunteers work to make these events possible.  Proceeds from these events support community projects grants to other local non-profits and need based post-secondary scholarships for Norwich residents.  Through these two fundraisers the NWC has contributed more than $1,000,000 to the community since 1964.

The NWC also hosts an annual book and author event, maintains the flower plantings in the triangle by Tracy Hall, hosts the summer concerts on Norwich Green, arranges a candidate forum for local elections, compiles a members directory, and offers a monthly Coffee and Conversation hour at the Norwich Inn. In thee past the NWC has also arranged a variety of other social activities for members such as  bus trips to area museums, nights out at Northern Stage, and wine tastings.

The NWC is powered by an all-volunteer board.  Please click here to meet the current board members.  Board meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 6:30pm in the community room at the Norwich Public Library.  All are welcome to attend.
